The AWAN Resort Hotel exhibits both the natural biodiversity and the roaring tourism industry that abound in the island town of Coron, Palawan. It manifests a duality in harmonizing nature with the human experience as it aims to redefine first class. Adventure and relaxation are amalgamated into an iconic structure meant to be camouflaged with the mountain it will be part of. The spaces within are carefully designed to accommodate the desires of guests who wish to explore or unwind; that either way, they shall discover something new about oneself and nature.

From the name where it originates from, ‘awan-awan’ — a spiritual belief of the local tribe Tagbanwa / Tagbanua that literally means zenith or beyond the sky — the hotel is made for those who aspire to transcend the bounds of the mundane and trite corollaries of human triviality, to aim higher with respect to nature and self-discovery.
